NAD-NED: CROCHET PASSAGES BY Inbal Wolf | SEPT 26 - Jan 20, 2024 | ZAZ GALLERY

Artist: Inbal Wolf | Curator: Ayelet Danielle Aldouby | Video Art by Nitay Dagan & Yuval Kella

Artist Inbal Wolf Statement: “Through the lows believe in the highs yet to come…”

Nad-Ned: Crochet Passages explores the intricate interplay between materials, movement, and time. Crochet, with its interwoven threads, symbolizes the connection between past and present, tradition and innovation. The material personifies the site, whether in a built environment or the desert, reflecting the ever-shifting landscapes of our lives and serving as a reminder that challenges are ever-present yet perspectives are in flux. The somatic movements experienced by viewers mirror the gentle sway of swings. Through this tapestry of crochet sculptural swings, shifting environments, and embodied experiences, Nad-Ned provides a space to reflect on life’s transitions and serves as a reminder of the hope embedded in repair and renewal.
